Clean and quiet.

We stayed two nights and were pleased. Staff were all pleasant. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfy. The only issue is that we are a couple, both 80 years old, still enjoying travel, but being in a room with no grab bars in the bathtub/shower combination was perilous for us. Bathtubs are slippery and we are prone to falling. Please put a simple grab bar in all rooms. It would save us from a potential fall, and you from a lawsuit if we really hurt ourselves through no fault of our own. Thank you.

This was our first stay at Country Inn & Suites in Belleville, Ontario, but when the opportunity arises, we will definitely stay here again. It was very clean, with an emphasis on health safety in many ways. The hotel is up-to-date in decor and very well appointed.The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, especially at the front desk. The breakfast was tasty, with a good variety od choices.

A conveniently located hotel off the 401. Great for overnight stay. Bed was a little lumpy, but the rooms were clean and spacious. Didn't like the flashing lights right above the bed. Breakfast was fairly plain - the usual cereal, fruit and bread. No muffins. Staff were friendly. Easy check in and out.

Poor communication and unfair extra charges

1. I informed the hotel at time of booking that we have a small dog - the hotel reported "Pet Friendly" . However not until check in were we informed that they are charging us $30.00 extra just for having a tiny dog that is well behaved and does not shed. 2. We asked on check in and were told by the woman that we can request a tray to transport the included breakfast to our room however when I requested the tray from the man at front desk he lied to me, said "we do not have any trays". I then explained tue aforementioned and he ordered his staff to provide us a tray. 3. There is a unaccounted extra charge of $20.00 added to our visa at checkout. We left our keys at the vacant desk (in a box as instructed) and fully expected an emailed final receipt. We have not received.
