Nice quiet hotel, reasonably priced.

Nice place for quiet weekend stay, comfortable rooms, breakfast was good, pool and hot tub was nice as well.

It is unique because it almost looks a compound of two story homes complete with shutters. A little brook runs through property. Indoor hot tub, outdoor pool. Breakfast was normal,good hotel offering. Lots to do and eat near by. I liked tiled shower vs. tub. When they saw we were elderly, they gave us a first floor room. Night light in bathroom was handy. Handicap parking next to door. Would stay again.

My spouse and I arrived Saturday 5/17 around 11 and asked if we would be able to check in early as we were in town for a wedding that started at 3:30. We were denied because they were “fully booked and to come back in at 3 when check in starts” the parking lot had about three cars upon arrival. we got a rental car so I wasn’t able to do pre check in online until we got our car. We left the hotel and as I was doing our pre check in there was an option for early check in at 11 for $50 or at 1 for $25 which I would’ve gladly paid but wasn’t informed was an option when we went inside. Thankfully, we had friends in town for this wedding as well so we were able to go to their hotel instead of sitting in our car for the next 4 hours. The next morning I went to get breakfast and was told I wasn’t able to leave the breakfast room with my plates, which has never been a problem before. I was given a paper plate as an alternative which was nice. Overall I had about two friendly encounters with the staff and two slightly dismissive encounters. The towels are starchy, the bed also goes up to my hips (I’m 5’1”), and the bed also only has two sheets and an extra large throw with no extra blankets in the room. For the price the hotel was good, I’ve stayed in FAR worse, especially for a short stay. I probably wouldn’t come back for longer stays but to visit my friends who live in Bellingham is was good for the money.

easy access to freeway, parking and breakfast included in the rate. no elevator so i had to climb stairs with my bags. room was fine. not sure of their pet policy but there was a dog in the next room that barked a bit. decent overall experience. cant beat the rate 129 all in.

The room was so bad that I actually didn't stay. I checked in saw the room and I left immediately without even unpacking. There were so many people in the lobby I could not even tell them I wasn't seeing. I ended up just leaving and going to another hotel.

There were three of us, but the room only had two towels. Two old, thin, lousy towels. The toilet paper holder was broken. The shower curtain was too small. Light from the hallway lit our room through the poorly sealed door so even with all our lights out, there was enough light to read by. The television was mounted on a side wall so remote from the beds that it was unviewable.

It was a nice room and bathroom. The dressers in the room had wonky drawers that didn't work. The Wifi barely worked and then didn't work at all. The breakfast was nice, very clean and well kept.

I checked in late on a weekend away. There was a chirping smoke detector in the adjacent room. I reported it twice and nothing was done. I had two very restless nights trying to sleep through the noise. Very poor experience with the response from hotel management. The property was just average.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. That being said. The outside open stair case felt a little unsafe and the access to the breakfast area was not easy to get to. I checked out and turned in my key card then had to go to the other building to get breakfast and was unable to access the room.

Absolutely awful experience from start to finish. ZERO stars. Would give less if possible. Booked reservation 9 months in advance. But because it was thru a 3rd party (Hotels.com) we were provided with the WORST room. First floor. Right by main entrance door. Handicap accessible. Next to ice machine. Asked to have different room. Told they were "booked solid" but the parking lot was never over 20% full even when we checked out at 4am next day. Room was FILTHY! Sheets gross. Shower disgusting. Floors obscenely dirty. Noisy as the running of the bulls in Spain. Front desk person incredible unhelpful and couldn't care less about her job. This stay was scary. Feel like i need to scrub my skin clean for days to get the gross off. Do better Wingate.
