This 1950’s mid-century home has been lovingly updated. A mid-century modern house with an urban feel. Everything about this home is beautiful, from its refinished hardwood floors to the new kitchen and bath, it is charming and maintains the feel of its era. Tastefully decorated with prints from local artists, you will begin experiencing Bend the moment you walk in.

Walk one block to Juniper Park, with its the unique playground and Family Recreation Swim area and waterslide, fitness center and tennis courts. In the late afternoon, hike Pilot Butte and enjoy panoramic views of Bend, the Cascade Mountains and the sunset. Or, if you are just looking to relax, you can sit out on the back deck with a glass of wine and a good book.

Mid-town delivers just what the name implies – you are within a mile or two of most everything you would want to do, see, or experience in Bend. Minutes to downtown, Old Mill, Box Factory, Drake Park, Hayden Homes Amphitheater. Add to that the short distance to Mount Bachelor, hiking and biking trails and the Deschutes, you will find yourself in the perfect location no matter the season.

The home is light and bright and has a spacious feel. There is plenty of storage for your things so that you can unpack and feel at home. In the kitchen, you will find all that you need, beautiful new appliances, quartz counter tops, open shelving, and pantry. Bedrooms are quaint and comfortable with 680 thread count cotton sheets for a good night sleep.

The outdoor space is lovely with a deck, table, chairs, umbrella, a gas grill, and string lights. We have just completed the new gas fire pit area. The yard is ample with plenty of room to play a game of Cornhole (provided).

This is the perfect retreat from which to explore Bend.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Start a load of towels, please wash in hot water and spray and wash any spots prior to washing.
Take out trash and recycling. All trash cans and recycling are located on the side of the garage. There is a separate small blue bin for glass.
If used, please be sure propane tanks are off (knob turned all the way to the right) and return Corn Hole to its case in the garage, if it was used. Make sure all 8 bags have been collected.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Prior to booking, please make sure your VRBO profile is complete and verified.
No smoking of any kind allowed on the premises. 2 cars maximum – onsite parking only, no street parking please. Quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am.
Guests are expected to follow the City of Bend Good Neighbor Guidelines, posted in the home. Please drive slowly through the neighborhood.
