This is my choice when I pass thru Bend: gave 5-stars, as it is exceptional for the price - It was a clean, comfy bed, hot shower/bath, and a hot breakfast with more than enough options. Amenities all clean & work, esp in-room coffee maker. Staff are welcoming, friendly & helpful.

The weirdest hotel experience ever. From the person checking me in who welcomed me with “can I help you with something” in that odd bothered voice like im coming in to the lobby at 11 pm begging for money or something to a weird character hanging out with a flashlight in the corner of the parking lot for a while to the weird policy of actually physically charging my credit card a $10 deposit whereas others simply placing a hold until checkout. I don’t know. The room was old and the furniture was very dated and the breakfast really wasn’t all that great. The only thing I really appreciated was seeing the cleaning crew actually strip all the bedding after all guests. That made me more at ease knowing at least I slept on clean linens.

The customer service was excellent, our only problem was resolved very quickly. The breakfast at the time was the off-season offering: Egg patties, biscuits and gravy, along with two kinds of sausage were in warming trays. Bagged waffles and pancakes were available to be put in the toaster. There was yogurt, cereals and all the usual stuff. It got it done just fine. There is fast food around the hotel and a Winco grocery within walking distance. We were in a larger room and it was very clean and spacious. It seemed well kept for its age. We would stay here again, mostly because the people seemed to care about us.
