Third stay this ski season at Waypoint. So I’m a regular customer. In this instance, the facilities fell short of expectations. The shower was very low volume and had to change rooms post check in, which is always a stressful event after a long drive. The hot tub wasn’t working during my stay, and I definitely rate a hot tub a must have during a ski trip. Looks like maintenance issues, please address.

2 friends & I arrived at this boutique Hotel to celebrate a birthday. Luckily for us this included a pre-paid comedy show in their bar/snack restaurant. The hotel lobby had a warm fire burning & comfortable seating. Our room was near the pool/hot tub. Pool was closed for winter, but they also had a fire pit in an enclosed patio area near the grassy dog walk area. $35 for a weeks stay is more than reasonable for the fee I paid for my dog. The room was freshly renovated with a modular wall system for storage, TV, Microwave, & frig. It had areas for skis & to hang clothing. The whole wall behind the beds had a local motif mural of mountains & forest. The bathroom provided ample mirrors & large sheet towels. The beds were comfortable, & the room had many lamps & ceiling lighting. It was well insulated as the upstairs room couldn’t be heard. Staff were great & responsive to our requests. Access to the Old Mill District & downtown were near by. We all agreed we’ll be back to spend another w/e at the Waypoint Hotel.

Great spot..... easy walking distance to Downtown, Old Mill District or local restaurants. Lots of grocery stores also within 5 mins walking to pick up misc stuff Only 25 mins to Mt Bachelor

Welcoming lobby with roaring fire to sit and visit or read in front of. Full bar off lobby. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Our sink drained very slowly, and the bathroom was dated, but all in all, I would stay again.
