The room was clean and warm and spacious. Well-priced and as described. Located in a stunning historical building, in an excellent location only a short walk from the art gallery and in the city centre. The bathroom was a little dated but honestly it was what you would expect for that price.

White the staff was very welcoming and the location is fantastic, the truth is that the hotel is quite old and not maintained properly. During my stay the ceiling leaked water in my room and it was not a very pleasant experience. Also the following day, at breakfast we had to wait for 1 hour for breakfast with no apologies.

Great location, grand old hotel Floor coverings need a good clean. Better furniture planning for a double room, for example 2 chairs, not 1 old uncomfortable one. Staff very friendly and obliging.

Hotel Shamrock has such potential; it could be such a beautiful, historic place in Bendigo. Presently, quite rundown. Stayed here many years ago on a family road trip and it was stunning. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Hopefully someday it will be renovated back to its past glory.

Check in team are wonderful. Cleaning team do their best to clean a property that is so far gone it’s not funny. Beds have springs coming through. Sad for the staff as they are great

The Architecture, what a magnificent building in the Heart of the city. A short walk to the gallery to see Freda Kharlo exhibition, great dinning, beautiful parks & gardens, street arts & classic sculptures & decorative lighting. Bendigo has embraced the Arts and it is a beautiful place to visit. We will come back again!
