Needed to get to the airport early in the morning and the hotel was located very conveniently. Walking distance to the airport. Took 3-4 minutes. Great breakfast and a very nice room.

Location, location, location

You absolutely CANNOT get a better location! Walking distance to both the airport and the train system that brings you directly to the Bergen downtown area!! I would have rated it a 5 had the room been a bit larger. We barely had room for our luggage. Their restaurant has a limited but good menu.

Really good hotel

Hotel is just a short walk to the airport. Very quiet room and comfortable. Everything done to simplify things (and reduce costs) for the hotel like self booking in, clearing own tray at breakfast (like Ikea) but staff on hand if any issues. The breakfast is fantastic with huge variety of hot and cold.

Unclear Toilets

Our first room's toilet had visible stool splattered on the inside. We then asked for a new room, which we were moved down the hallway. Unfortunately, this room also had a similar toilet issue, but not as significant. It was late at night and we had an early flight, so we just dealt with it.

I cannot recommend this hotel despite the helpful staff. Firstly, despite being close to the terminal, there is no shuttle bus. As such, arriving and departing guests have to walk nearly a quarter of a mile dragging whatever luggage they have behind them - possibly through rain, snow, and freezing temperatures. Secondly, upon arrival there was no reception, the hotel was utterly deserted save for an anonymous self-service check-in kiosk. This is hardly welcoming, especially if one has questions or problems. In my case the anonymous kiosk told me my room was unavailable - this was an hour after my check-in time. I thus had to go searching for a real person. Eventually, I found one in, of all places, the kitchen! I will not stay here again.
