Great hotel. Stayed for a conference - less than 10 minute walk to the S bahn at Sauvignyplatz - convenient location. Rooms minimalist but functional. Buffet breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly. Had drinks in the bar most evenings - good selection and price. Happy to stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Abba Berlin. Great neighborhood, we felt safe walking around. Would definitely recommend it. Just didn’t like having to go through the smokers right in front of the entrance door.

Slow internet

Very poor internet speed in WiFi (between 5-10 mbps), and my room was somehow shielded, so the mobile internet speed was poor as well. Other were ok.

We had a bit of an outdated room especialy the bathroom. The tap and shower head sprayed in all directions (due to limescale). Also was expecting coffee facilities in a 4 star hotel room and our room did not get cleaned (although the cleaning team was busy next door when we left our room). Overall not the worst experience but a bit dissapointing comparing it to other Berlin experiences in the same price range.

Amazing staff but not so amazing other things

We booked a family room but since there was overbooking, we could not get that. As a solution, they gave us 2 rooms next to each other, and it was a nice gesture. However, fridge in the room was not working and we could only understand that next morning when the bottle of our medicine was still warm. Since it was a sunday, they could not get the fridge fixed but offered to keep the medicine at theirs. Room service was tidying up the room everyday but the room was still full of dust. On the bright side, all staff was really great. For all the problems we have experienced, they were so quick to offer an alternative. Location was also good with basically 15min walk to kaiser wilhelm church.
