The water was off in the bathroom for almost one day. Had to suggest compensation at the main reception as they tried to get away with giving nothing and I knew others who got the full price of a night refunded. I got 70% back. I had no toilet nor the ability to have a shower/wash hair. Imagine paying 5 star prices and I had to prompt them for some compensation - they hoped to get away with paying nothing.

Good breakfast choices though dinner menu limited and expensive. Good central position for the city and perfectly located for the hop on, hop off bus stop and also underground station.

Great location

We stayed for 9 nights from 9/10/25 to 9/19/25. The hotel is strategically located that we could walk to Museum Island, Berlin Grand Cathedral, Berlin Palace, Jewish Museum etc. Also, the subway station Stadtmitte is right in front of the hotel, and thus, it is easy to go every places with transfers. Rewe City Supermarket is 1.5 blocks away where we bought fruits, pastries and bread and oatmeal for breakfast. The neighborhood is quiet at night.

The staff were really good, helpful and supportive. The computers were down, so could not get into the fridge to keep anything cold. The signage to the gym / pool was incorrect which made it difficult to find, such that the signage on the 6th floor took you to a dead end. Make sure to include breakfast with your room booking, adding breakfast after the event was €38, although there are plenty of cafes outside as cheaper alternatives.
