Excellent location

Really good value well located hotel for a short city break. Very close to an S bahn station with direct link to Schonfeld airport.

Great hotel for a couple, weekend break

This hotel is in a superb location, artistically decorated and serviced by helpful and polite staff. The room was very comfortable and made great use of the space available, particularly for storage. My only criticism would be that the room that we stayed in was a little on the small side, and did not have a chest-of-drawers. Hence I would recommend it more for a weekend getaway for a couple. If you have more luggage or are staying for longer, then I would request a larger room (if available). There is a nice deli/cafe attached to the hotel, which creates a good ambience, though I found €5.50 for a fresh orange juice quite expensive. It is also closed on Sundays. Overall this is a great place to stay if you are a younger (or youthful!) couple, or travelling alone, given the KaDeWe on Ku'Damm is about a 15 minute walk, the underground at Uhlandstrasse about a 5 minute walk, and the S-Bahn at Savignyplatz about a 10 minute walk away. You can anywhere in Berlin from these access points.

Good

Ups: Very nice staff and nice location. The Hotel has a good design and is very clean. Downs: Rooms are rather small and the breakfast too pricey (19€ per person in Berlin?).

Das Hotel ist originell und offenbar sehr nachhaltig eingerichtet, mit sehr viel Hightech, der allerdings nicht immer funktionierte. Es gibt eine Menge Schalter, derem Funktionen aber nicht einfach zu durchschauen sind. Insgesamt verbrachte ich aber eine schöne Zeit in dem Hotel.
