Somewhere to sleep - I wish.

First impressions of the hotel were good. An obviously 3star establishment with rooms that had high ceilings and enough space for the occupants. Floorboards very creaky in corridor outside my room. Proper key to door but don't forget to lock it when you leave. For a single room, the door space to the shower from the toilet area was small and, as a large guy, I had to squeeze through the gap. Disappointing but space was at a premium in the room. The room had a free safe, which was a good facility. The food choice at breakfast was very good, including small amount of hot food plus boiled eggs. Couldn't fault food at all. My only gripe is that the hotel was stuffed with a very large party of young Italians and boy, they were so noisy, both day and night. They could'nt speak quietly if their lives depended on it. My suggestion is take some ear plugs with you. The staff were very friendly and all spoke far better English than my German was. I would however go back to this hotel as it seved my needs well.

Great girls trip

Hotel is in a great location, bus stop is just down the road, with easy access to the main sights. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Was not much space to sit when having breakfast, pillows were too soft and walls are very thin, you can hear people's conversation in the next room and hallway. But was perfectly fine for a weekend getaway. Had a great time.

Comfort and sufficient luxury, with good staff and fantastic breakfast

The desk staff were most helpful - and there 24/7! The breakfast is awesome - quality and quantity - with attentive waitresses. The hotel is a larger older building with real character. The bathroom was spotless and 'as new'. The room was fine - only one chair, and not large, but perfectly ok, with useful extras like safe and wifi - plus VERY quiet (they put us at the end furthest from the main road). OK, the stairs carpet was a bit tired, but that's the only downside i can think of. EXCELLENT value, for what we paid. Oh, and good location, two minutes from bus stop and/or underground station
