I had upgraded to a business plus room which I confirmed with receptionist on arrrival. But the room given was hardly that and on enquiry was told that’s between Expedia and me so hotel has nothing to do with it. Disappointing!

The online check-in was very handy. The room was clean and of great quality. I didn't hear noise from outside even though it's next to a big road and close to the airport. The only thing is I didn't get any guidance for check out. So I had to wait in a long queue but found out they I was able to leave my card key somewhere on the reception table after seeing someone do it.

There are two Intercity hotels at the BER airport. This one is two train stops away. I did not realize it and went to the wrong one first. From the train station an approx 10 min walk which can be cumbersome when you have heavy luggage. All in all an OK stay for the price I paid.

Attentive, polite staff; well-maintained property with spacious, clean rooms. Hotel offers bar, restaurant, sauna and fitness room. Just know there are no shops, bars, or restaurants nearby. But if you need to be close to the Berlin airport the night before a flight, as I did, then this is the perfect place to stay. The Schönefeld S-Bahn is just a five minute walk away and will get you to the airport within 10 minutes.

Really nice hotel, Quiet rooms, staff are helpful and it's really easy to access by road and rail. However did not expect to have to get the train for 15 mins from airport to the hotel plus a 10 min walk. Would recommend though

Very disappointed - Rude, no solutions

It seems you need to read the small prints to have a tea bag in the room. I checked in at 11pm and got up Sunday at 7, saw the kettle and cups, searched for the tea bag. But none? Strange, rang reception and was told I need to pay for breakfast downstairs to avail of tea. This was 'abolished' by the new Shanghai owner and anyway she could not help being only 3 months here. And also she said I was rude and hung up on me. Now, I would have said if I was alone at reception to come down and I would have provided any guest asking with some tea bags on a Sunday morning but this is obviously a choice. She was very unfriendly and could not think of a helpful solution. It was the worst experience I had in a hotel for many years. So, I am not coming back and voiced that, too but it seemed she did not care. I later got tea bags from the trolley upstairs. Simple? Well, the person neither spoke German nor English, I did not try French. He was kind and when pointing to the package of tea bags he provided me with two for next morning. I was too shy to ask for milk but did not see any anywhere. If a hotel starts saving on the tea facility is it not a bit of a desperate attempt then? I don't need the fancy tea from downstairs (that is not eco-friendly by the way with it's non compostable plastic bags) but some simple tea, any tea please on a Sunday at 7 in the morning in this rather remote location. This is another point by the way. On the map I did not see that this was at the old airport...

AMIR is the best!

This hotel is very clean and close to the airport. However, the best part of my stay was the great customer service. Especially the young man at the front desk. His name is Amir and he tremendously helped make my stay more comfortable and pleasant. Thank you, Amir!

Clean and convenient

It is a very clean hotel, close to the airport and S-bahn station (5 min walk). Very convenient for short stay or for whom who likes to be close to airport
