Welcome to Werder! Our beautiful city is surrounded by numerous lakes. Schwielowsee, Glindowsee, Großer Plessower See and Zernsee as well as part of the Havel border the historically attractive urban area. Tree blossom festival, winemaker festival, mill festival, winter magic - there are cultural events in all seasons. Enjoy the tranquility in the woods or discover bike paths and waterways and many other opportunities for active relaxation. There are many excursions in the region: Petzow with the sea buckthorn adventure garden and the bonsai garden, the seaside resort Caputh with castle and palace garden, Ferch with the painter's colony or the asparagus town of Beelitz.
