Located on the peaceful outskirts of Bertrix, this charming 2-bedroom holiday home offers a warm and welcoming escape for up to 6 guests. With a private terrace, and furnished garden, it’s the perfect base for a small family or couple looking to relax and explore the Ardennes.

The home features a private entrance, indoor heating, and a cozy living room with fireplace, ideal for chilly evenings. The open kitchen is fully equipped, and the dining area comfortably seats six. After a day of sightseeing, enjoy a barbecue under the stars. A cot and high chair are available on request, and private parking is included.

Das Haus war unglaublich schön und gepflegt. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und der Esel ist ein willkommener Begleiter beim Frühstück. Allerdings waren wir schockiert darüber, dass es in der Gegend keinen Empfang gab und das WLAN erst funktionierte, nachdem wir es selbst zurückgesetzt hatten. Die Eigentümer sprechen weder Englisch noch Niederländisch, was natürlich kein Problem darstellt, aber es ist schwierig, sich zu verständigen, insbesondere ohne die Fähigkeit, über das Internet zu übersetzen. Der Empfang war ziemlich chaotisch, der Besitzer (sein Sohn, glauben wir?) wusste nicht ganz, in welchem der drei Häuser wir übernachten sollten und später konnten wir mit dem älteren Ehepaar und einem Französisch sprechenden Mann herausfinden, wie wir dorthin gelangen Holländischer Nachbar. Ich möchte auch darauf hinweisen, dass zu unserer großen Unzufriedenheit kein Whirlpool verfügbar war. Dies war eine der Voraussetzungen, aufgrund derer wir das Haus gebucht hatten, und anschließend stellte sich heraus, dass nicht nur der Whirlpool nicht mehr vorhanden war, sondern dass er (falls vorhanden) offenbar mit dem Nachbarhaus geteilt werden würde. (Unsere niederländischen Nachbarn erklärten, dass der Whirlpool auch auf den Fotos in ihrem Haus zu sehen war). Es wäre schön gewesen, das alles vorher zu wissen. Dennoch hatten wir einen schönen Urlaub.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön und blickt auf einen großen, schönen Garten. Es liegt mitten in der Natur und man merkt kaum, dass man sich auf dem Grundstück des Eigentümers befindet. Der Garten hat viel Sonne und das Ferienhaus ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Der einzige kleine Nachteil ist, dass der Schwimmteich nicht gerade einladend ist, da er nicht sauber ist, aber alles andere ist perfekt.

Het huis was proper en van het nodige comfort voorzien. Prachtige tuin met een kabbelend beekje naast het huis. Tijdens de weekdagen was de houtzagerij overdag wel duidelijk hoorbaar. In de buurt kunnen mooie wandelingen gedaan worden, mits een kleine verplaatsing. Er was geen wifi en geen internet, zelfs om te telefoneren moesten we naar buiten. De eigenaar ging het internet in orde laten brengen, maar daar is niets van in huis gekomen. Verder voldeed het huis aan onze verwachtingen.
