Nearby Goswick Beach stretches wide with golden sand, ideal for long walks, beach games or paddling. Berwick-upon-Tweed offers riverside strolls, independent shops and the impressive Elizabethan town walls, while Bamburgh promises dramatic sea views, an iconic castle and a vast beach. For wildlife lovers, boat trips from Seahouses head out to the Farne Islands to spot puffins, seals and sometimes dolphins.


Inside, the cottage has an easygoing charm. The open-plan living space includes a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area that’s perfect for a quiet breakfast or evening meal, and a comfortable lounge area with Smart TV for relaxing after a day out.
