Enjoy our custom remodeled rustic industrial Big Bear cabin w/ modern amenities! Located on top of quiet cul-de-sac that backs up to San Bernardino National Forest, the home has PCT hike/run/MTB/climbing access & backcountry ski-in/ski-out capabilities. Perfect for those who want to escape to the mountains to hike, rock climb, bike, trail run, backcountry ski or adventure (dogs very welcome)!

When you’re not exploring, enjoy the lofted ceilings, wrap-around deck & ski-resort + Mountain Views.

This is not your typical cookie cutter Big Bear investment property. It is a lived in property as the original VRBO intended. As the owners, we love to backcountry ski, bike, run & hike different mountains in different places and want others to have a place to do the same. The house has foot/bike access to National Forest trail systems (no need to drive to a trailhead) including the famed Gold Mountain, Holcomb valley pinnacles/hundreds of rock climbing routes and uncharted backcountry skiing when the snow holds. We are south facing so snow melts rather quickly and we are always a few degrees warmer than the other side of the lake!

The house was remodeled with a unique and fully custom rustic industrial style. It contains 4 bedrooms and 2 baths with two king beds, two bunks, and a futon. There is an office, wrap around deck with views of the San Gorgonio & Sugarloaf ridgelines, a foyer to hang your ski equipment or leave your bikes, and a Harry Potter nook under the staircase.

When relaxing, you can enjoy two large flat screen smart TVs, watch a movie, or read one of our backcountry guide books.
