It was an unforgettable experience in my life. I drove from San Francisco to Santa Barbara with my two kids, spending four hours each way. When I arrived, they informed me that they had double-booked my reservation.

Yes the room was very spotless and clean. The staff were very generous and accommodating. We had an issue booking our room at a late notice and the manager there was more than helpful to us in making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be coming back soon!

This place was awesome! More than enough space and they had the basics for the kitchen and were super responsive if we needed anything. The only thing I would suggest is if you’re staying in the master bedroom bring a sleep mask because there are no curtains on the doors or skylight so it’s bright very early.

Our stay at Arkouda Cabins was amazing! The cabin was very clean and offered to us everything we needed and comfort us. All amenities were included and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially, Jenica, who went above and beyond to correct a minor technical issue, and yet managed to make our stay the best experience ever. We were accommodated at the Iconic cabin #9 known for Marilyn Monroe's incredible getaway cabin! Thank you Arkouda!

I’m so glad I chose this place to stay. It’s in a great location, close to restaurants, stores, the village, and other Big Bear attractions. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. I am platinum with Expedia, so I don’t take posting a 1 star review lightly. I highly suggest not booking this place. Whilst the photos do look beautiful, sleeping was not possible. The renovation has had no care taken to actually sleeping, and every single thing can be heard. Dogs howling all night, the couple next door could be heard at midnight (use your imagination) and the constant road noise. Check in was appalling, no one was ever available on site. There are many beautiful places in big bear - such as Hotel Marina Riviera (which we booked for the second night as we could not stay another night in this hotel). Tread cautiously, this hotel felt like a money grab rather than a company that cared about hospitality.
