The host was very proactive and responsive to all situations - e.g. last minute trail closures, fire bans, etc. - and provided great alternate suggestions.

Beautiful HQ for Park Exploration

Small but very comfortable with a great view. Nicely furnished and equipped with all the essentials for simple cooking. We enjoyed taking our pups for hikes on several different trails during our five night stay. This is way up at the northern end of the Cabot Trail, so be aware that musical and cultural tourism destinations like Mabou and Sydney require some drive time.

Peaceful retreat
