The staff was courteous and the check-in process was easy. The room was comfortable and the bed and linens were nice. The only problem was that the bath mat was dirty and contained what looked like a piece of “chocolate “ but was definitely NOT.

Several things added to make my stay less than I had hoped. Most hotels of this caliber offer Valet and Bell service. This hotel, neither. Hotels of this caliber usually have a robe for the guest to use. Most hotels of this caliber, with a swimming pool that is a huge amount of its appeal, know to inform the client in advance that the pool is unavailable. And lastly, a television which does not work properly is a problem especially after reporting it to management repeatedly. Told repeatedly that someone would come to check it out, was untrue. All in all not at all as hoped and expected.

They set me up on the Platinum Tower, which is one of their newer ones. Yet, the room looked old, and the furniture work, and even broken in a couple of places. it looked bear with barely any decoration inside. Smal but ok.

Drinks were high priced and had low alcohol content…tasted like fruit juice only and when my wife notified restaurant management they provided multiple excuses about liquor changes and standard pours for drinks before they decided to swap out the drink. The casino is smoky wherever you go so there really are NO smoke free areas! We found mold in our shower at the exhaust fan and an empty soda can behind the night stand which tells you something about the room cleaning! Then the shower shrieked at a high pitch decibel above 85 dB that actually is above the safe threshold and finally the beds were so hard that my back was sore for days…felt like I was sleeping on a plank! Definitely hard pass….expected more from the name plate.

Hard Rock was more than accommodating. Since Travelocity did not finish the booking and they had no record of our reservation. They not only gave us a room at the rate listed they upgraded our room.
