We have stayed at this hotel before and really enjoyed out stay. However this time the noise level at the hotel was unacceptable. From the constant street noise, slamming doors constantly throughout the early hours of the morning and people stood talking extremely loudly outside the lift (which was directly opposite our room) all between 1am- 4am.

Nice hotel. Some parts of the room were dated. There was a strange sewage smell from the bathroom as soon as we entered the room and it stayed with us during our stay. Other than that, the hotel and room were nice.

Unfortunately, our stay was not very comfortable. The window did not close properly, letting in cold air, and the room temperature dropped to 15°C on the first night. The heater was extremely noisy, but we couldn’t turn it off because the room became cold very quickly. The shower also had no door, which caused water to splash everywhere. During busy times, the lift was very crowded and there were no stairs available to access the rooms.

Hotel was in a convenient location to the train station although uphill but not that bad. Five minute walk. Close to restaurants and canals with shops and restaurants. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was big with bathtub and shower separate but shower was very small although water pressure was excellent. Get rid of the tub and make that a shower. No place to put toiletries in the shower which was tuff since shower is very tight. Nice breakfast and very very friendly staff. I would stay again.
