Welcome to Elmsgate, a beautifully renovated historic home in one of Birmingham's most desirable neighborhoods. Over 100 years old, this elegant and comfortable home blends timeless charm with modern luxury, creating the perfect space for a quiet retreat or a large group of family and friends.

Nestled in the heart of historic Highland Park, our home's location is incredible. You are just a short, pleasant walk from local favorites, including O'Henry's Coffee, Rojo restaurant, and the scenic Rufus Rhodes Park. Several other popular restaurants and bars are also within a 5-10 minute walk.

You will have access to the entire home and its amenities, with the exception of the basement. The basement will be accessible only in the event of an emergency, such as a tornado warning.

Quick wTrip for Concert

Perfect spot for our family and friends for a quick trip to attend concert at new Coca-Cola Amphitheater. Close to venue (only 5min drive), lots of food options within a short drive. Plenty of beds and room for all. Adorable decor. Kids loved the balcony and porch. Cooked multiple meals at home with no issues. Aubrey was a fabulous host and loved all her suggestions and the book and manual for the house. Clean, comfortable and an overall fabulous experience. Would definitely stay again for another trip!

We chose this home due to its convenience to Andrews Sports Medicine. Our son had UCL surgery, so having all the bedrooms upstairs was not a problem. Booking and check-in was seamless, and the host was very quick to respond to questions while we were at the house. The digital guidebook is a great feature too.

Beautiful Property - Great Location

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Elmsgate in Birmingham. The location was fantastic, providing easy access to everything we wanted to explore. We especially enjoyed evening walks around the neighborhood, feeling safe as we admired the beautiful, historic homes. The house was spotless, with clean and comfortable beds and linens. Despite being close to a hospital, the property remained quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. The property manager’s guide was a great touch, offering helpful tips on nearby restaurants and activities that we thoroughly enjoyed. The décor was elegant and thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We traveled with our adult children, and having a private en suite bedroom was perfect for extra comfort and privacy. We would highly recommend Elmsgate for anyone looking for a charming and convenient place to stay in Birmingham.

Weekend Getaway

The property was well stocked with all the necessity you could imagine, actually there more than enough towels and household supplies than any place I ever stayed. Location was convenient, close to interstates but parking was limited. Overall nice stay and host very responsive.

Perfect wedding weekend

We rented this property for a wedding weekend. It was a perfect location and a great place for extended family to join us as well as allowed us to entertain other friends and members of the wedding party. Everything was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to serve breakfast for 16 the next morning. The communication with the property management was excellent and Morgan went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect Spot for a Winter Retreat in the City

We loved our visit to Elmsgate. From its grand stair entrance to the outdoor gas fire pit that warmed us and our hearts as we watched the sunset, to the many places to sleep and celebrate sisterhood.
