A bit too basic for a holiday inn. The bar staff were moody during evening service and the tablet style ordering system was making them busy and unable to deal with people standing at the bar - it was a bit odd. No harm done - just odd. Lots of food delivery people in and out of reception too - just made it feel a bit low budget; without the low budget price tag!

For the price it was an ideal overnight stop . We walked out from the hotel and found a lovely Indian restaurant for dinner . Also a harvester close by both cheaper than the hotel . Pool area ok but very busy .

The staff at check in were just lovely and made the stay very enjoyable. We arrived late at night and so it was straight to bed. The shower unfortunately had a big clump of hair attached to the shampoo bottle which was a little off putting and not something you expect to see. However overall it was a quick and convenient stay and we were very grateful for free parking and breakfast.

Friday night great. Saturday night sh*t.

Despite a somewhat lengthy time to check in, with room being reallocated as our original room wasn't yet ready, Friday night was a pleasant evening and good nights sleep. However, Saturday night was terrible. Unbeknownst to us, there was an all night Soul music event booked into one of the function rooms, so people talking loudly in the adjacent rooms and corridor, slamming of doors happening regularly, ALL NIGHT LONG.

Great location, great hotel.

Reception staff very friendly and informative. Room clean, beds comfy. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice. Great location for travel to Alexander Stadium.

Hotel is absolutely fine. But after a day of 30c heat I needed air con. Not working. Possibly down across the site, dunno. Got offered a fan, fair enough, but needed it colder. Then to make matter worse, got served a Guinness in a Magners glass.
