Staff was excellent, they are a dedicated group of people. The room is comfortable and adequate. Now here are the complaints. No provision to prevent falls in the shower: no hold bars, robber mates, or textured anti slip surfaces. The breakfast was bad. Uneven selection and sometimes no selection. They often ran out of stuff.

I’ll start by saying the staff was excellent—truly the best part of the stay. I’ve stayed at this hotel in the past and it was top-notch, but this time was disappointing. The room had a moldy smell, and we woke up feeling stuffy. It also wasn’t very clean; the floors, drapes, and windows were noticeably dirty, and overall the room just needs a deep cleaning. When we returned the next day, the room still hadn’t been serviced. Lastly, the breakfast was extremely limited, almost as if a food order had been missed. The only items available were a pot of grits, donut holes, coffee, bananas, and apples. I’m not sure what happened, but the quality here has really gone downhill.

We always stay here when in the area. Room is large, comfortable, well-maintained, and clean. Staff is friendly and efficient. Any little problem is handled quickly. Breakfast is normally very good, and varies from day to day. It’s hit-or-miss on holidays, though. Super convenient to dining options, I-459, and Highway 31.

The room was dated with huge brown stains in the toilet. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. Housekeepers speak little to no english and walk in room with out notice or knocking. This was the worst stay at a Hyatt property

I normally enjoy Hyatt-branded properties, but this stay at Hyatt Place was shockingly bad. The “complimentary breakfast” was the first red flag — the floor was literally coated in syrup. My shoes stuck with every step. It was not only disgusting but also a safety hazard. I have no idea how staff walked past this without addressing it. The condition of the hotel itself is even more concerning. The room had poorly done repair work and unfinished patches on the walls that looked like someone quit halfway through. For a Hyatt property, it felt more like a neglected motel. Honestly, I’m not sure how this location is still keeping the flag with maintenance this far below brand standards. Between the cleanliness issues, the lack of attention to detail, and the overall rundown feel, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I definitely won’t be returning.

Rooms fine. Bathroom very tiny. Breakfast ran out of key items - like milk - or did not put them out each day - like cereal. A group arrived after our first night and they had their own buffet which cut some of ours out - like any breakfast meat the last 2 mornings. Overall a decent place to stay, not exceptional.

Shower door would not close due to not being level. Both shower doors would slide to lower end leaving floor wet due to shower door open. Had to hold it close with a foot or hand while trying to shower in order for floor not to get wet. The TV would not turn on.

We had a good stay. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. However, I did call ahead and ask if there was a crib available. I was told that there was. After we checked in they brought us a pack and play with no padding or mattress (the plastic rods were showing on the bottom. I would have been fine with a pack and play, but without the pad it wouldn’t have been comfortable or safe for my baby to lay in.
