A great place to stay

We stay here often and it is always welcoming, friendly and with great service. The pub next door is great for food and Brad and Nathan ensure a great atmosphere too. I thoroughly recommend this hotel

Would stay somewhere else if you can

I eventually stayed in the 3rd room I was offered. The first 2 had a terrible stench of damp in them. Staff were good trying to get me different rooms but both times asked if I had touched or moved anything so I assumed they were going to allocate the smelly rooms to something else. 3rd room was ok but in need of decorating. I didn’t have breakfast as a colleague who went down before me messaged to say it was the worst breakfast he had ever had in a hotel and he has stayed in loads of hotels
