I booked this hotel for a last minute mini break for myself and my best friend. The hotel was the cheapest i could find with decent reviews so we decided to go for it.
The pub is quirky and welcoming, with a selection of board games, the hotel is dated but all in order and well kept. My ONLY criticism is that the bath room had had a wipe over but i don't believe it had had a decent deep clean in a while. Otherwise, for the price, it was brilliant. Despite being above a pub, it was really quiet, much quieter than any well known chain hotel i have been in, except for the busy road in the near vicinity, if busy roads bother you, you may want some ear plugs!
Its walkable in 10-15 minutes to the centre of Birmingham. So perfect for a shopping trip. I've recommended the hotel to my family for when my sister has a stall at Birmingham christmas Market 🎄
