Upon arrival at The Carrick, there was a minor glitch. We were given keys to the room we had booked, but when we got to the room, it was apparent that housekeeping had not yet cleaned the room (i.e., beds not made, etc.). We went back to the front desk where they apologized and found us another room. It took about 5 minutes while they went to check out the new room before sending us there, but in the mean time we sat on the comfortable sofa in the lobby and enjoyed the snacks and cold drinks they had given us upon arrival. The new room would have been a higher price than the one we had booked, but they gave it to us for the price of the room we had booked, along with a complimentary jar of jelly. The thing we liked most about The Carrick was the size of the huge spacious suite. We had Room 203 and it was decorated in a cute Western theme, with cow-patterned pillows and Western artwork. The kitchen was fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, coffee maker, coffee supplies, a dining table, and an island with bar stools. Down the hall outside the room was a fridge & a table containing assorted breakfast items, which you could take back to the suite. We felt The Carrick was great value for the money and would highly recommend it.

Nicely appointed room… bedroom was just a little cramped. It could have more space with a queen bed. Staff was amazing! Interacted mostly with James and he was helpful and friendly. Always with a smile.

Staff was amazing when checking in, the free snacks were a plus and boy did they have snacks! More free snacks in the hall before elevator is super nice too! Only issues were the bed and bathroom. Bed frame was falling apart and the bathroom towel holder was falling out of the wall, it actually fell off when I grabbed my towel. I loved that they had the AC turned on when I arrived cause it was pretty warm outside. Overall, satisfied and will visit again.
