We had an incredible holiday weekend at the Riverfront Cabin. The cabin has all the needed amenities and was thoughtfully designed to maximize the views and ambiance of the mountains and creek. There were so many idyllic moments in the cabin watching the creek, trains, snow, mountains, and making lasting memories. The hosts were responsive and communicated extremely well. We can't recommend this place enough. The only thing we would change is staying longer.

My husband and I love this cabin. This was our second vacation here. We love the location and its beautiful surroundings. We enjoy hiking the trails just outside the cabin. We feel really comfortable at this cabin. It really has everything. If you forgot something, don’t worry, they have it. The kitchen is very well stocked and we cooked a lot. The website they provide is very helpful with local restaurants, things to do. It explains everything inside the cabin and how everything works. We especially liked how everything was labeled which made it super easy. The cabin is cozy. The back patio/balcony is also incredible. And the views!! Wow! We felt completely safe here. The hosts were very kind and reached out to make sure we were happy. Very thoughtful! We will be back, again :)

My sister & I adored this cabin! It had everything we needed--2 good tv areas for me & and good kitchen for my sister. Even more impressive were the steam shower, the heated floors, and beautiful hand crated gas fire pit on the upper deck. The cabin was spotless which is impressive given it's located in wilderness. The constant sound of the river and the occasional sound of the trains were both peaceful. I also liked watching the fly fishermen (many of whom had no clue what they were doing which amused me as a former fisherman myself). The last bit of road to the house is dirt and bumpy, so a 4WD helps. And the metal staircase going from the parking area to the entrance was difficult to navigate with luggage--the wheels get stuck in the metal grating. But the staircase will come in handy when it snows. The hosts could not have been more friendly or helpful. They replied quickly to any questions or concerns we had. My sister & I are already planning another stay at this peaceful cabin in the woods.

What a perfect getaway in the mountains! I could sit and listen to the creek all day! The views were fantastic. The hike near the house was easy to access and we saw a Moose on the trail. The hammock and side yard were great for games and throwing sticks for our puppy. I loved all the lighting, especially in master bedroom. The house was so well organized- the labels and signs explaining things made it so effortless. A lot of thought went into how to make it easy for guests. The location was an easy drive to hikes or to grab a meal. I would love to come back for another stay! Pure relaxation. :)

The cabin was absolutely amazing Check in went smoothly. The host was quick to respond to our needs.The kitchen was stocked with everything you may need or want. Our son loved the loft and the hot tub. The master suite was stupendous. The hosts definitely went above and beyond when designing that space.The cabin, although very isolated, was packed with so many modern amenities. The fire pit on the upper deck was, by far, our favorite spot. The sound of the stream, 24/7, was so relaxing. We loved feeding one particular bird that was there everyday and watching the chipmunks. We also had 2 elk stroll right past the deck on morning. I would highly recommend this cabin for your next getaway!

House and location were great for our hiking trip. Each day we were there we saw a moose walking in the river below! Owners were very responsive and let us know in advance of any issues that we should be aware of. The kitchen may have been the best of any rental I have used in the past. Perfect Anniversary Getaway

This Riverfront Luxury cabin was everything we had hoped for and so much more. Pictures don’t do justice to how nice and clean this cabin is. Jed and Damaris have put so much thought and effort into making this cabin perfect for their guests. They even emailed us during our stay to make sure that everything was just right for us. We enjoyed sitting by the gas fire pit breathing the mountain air and taking in all of the beautiful scenery. Relaxing in the hot tub was just the ticket to enjoy the cool evenings as we listened to the river running just a few feet away. We also took advantage of some amazingly beautiful hikes within walking distance from the cabin. The cabin is very well stocked with about anything you might need and groceries and other goods are only a few miles away. Jed and Damaris are probably the best hosts we have ever encountered. It was obvious that they truly cared about us and wanted us to have the best time possible. We highly recommend this Luxury Cabin and we will definitely come back againJeff and Tammy Crites

Perfect Mountain Getaway – Stunning Views & Amazing Amenities!

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views right out of the front windows—pictures just don’t do it justice. The location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful, private setting while still being conveniently close to both Nederland and Blackhawk. Whether we wanted to explore town or just relax in nature, it was the best of both worlds.The cabin itself was beautifully maintained and stocked with everything we needed. The amenities were top-notch, from the cozy living spaces to the well-equipped kitchen—cooking with their HexClad pans was such a fun experience! The attention to detail in the home made it feel warm and welcoming.The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. It’s rare to find a place that checks every box, but this cabin absolutely did. We can’t wait to come back!

I don't even know where to start.if I could I'd give a 10 star rating! My family and I have been traveling for the holidays and every year we visit a different city; never wanting to revisit anywhere until now. If you are looking for a secluded, cozy, and scenic cabin this is the one! The views are AMAZING no matter where you are at, you can catch a glimpse of nature. To wake up and be covered in snow all around, all from the comfort of the bed was breathtaking. Which brings me to the next thing The beds were comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked with an ample kid dishware seasonings and essentials. We mostly enjoyed the views, the snow, the cabin was just lovely, nobody got homesick everything was perfect. Pictures can't do justice but what you see is exactly what you get and more. We highly recommend you visit Nederland and Eldora, we came across the nicest and cool people in the world. Our goal was to get away from the hustle and bustle of Dallas and relax and we sure did along with plenty of laughs, joyful moments, warm hearts, and plenty of delicious home meals! We miss the trains already.. and I may have to build a similar reading nook so that my son can have a home away from Gilpin.. Last but certainly not least, a huge THANK YOU to Jed, Damaris & Beya who were more than helpful and accommodating from the minute we booked till the moment we were back home! BLESSINGS
