A great hotel for a stop off

We booked this hotel as a stop off. It is clean & comfortable. The rooms are big and of high spec. There's tea, coffee & biscuits plus toiletries in the bathroom. The bathrooms also have a bath. The hotel is a short walk to the seafront. We had Refreshments which were good at The Corner Flag restaurant which is situated on the second floor.

Unique place to stay when your room looks out over the football pitch and stadium. Wouldn’t say it’s a 4* hotel though. Bed was very hard, and the sofa bed for the kids was like them sleeping on springs and they both complained of bad backs the next morning. Staff were friendly and breakfast was ok. All in all for the price and location it’s not bad

Perfect night

Fabulous one night break. Hotel staff friendly and room epic, overlooking the football club and Blackpool Tower. Beds were comfy and the room was huge. Can’t fault and will absolutely come again.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. My room was ok, it’s needing a freshing up though, more two star than four. In general good but needs freshening up. The corner flag bar and restaurant was the best part of the hotel. The breakfast was in here which was ok. I didn’t get a chance to use the spa facilities which I was hoping to. Overall too expensive for what you get. I will be trying somewhere else in January.

Most staff were friendly although the receptionist on shift Sat morning found it hard to speak in a friendly manner. She made it hard for the guests who were asking questions. We were sitting in reception for an hour waiting for the room as it was really busy in the bar due to the match so watched a few guests asking for advice etc - I thought she was very lucky that most of the guests didn’t react to her tone etc.
