As a family of 6 with a large greyhound, we were very impressed by the size of our standard family room. We were very happy to unexpectedly find a fridge in our room, and the swimming pool kept us all entertained on a very rainy afternoon, plus was very cheap. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Few negative points... mattresses were not the most comfortable, enamel was cracked in the bathroom sink and there was no plug mechanism so sink couldn't be filled. A few springs fell off the fold-out bed when we folded it up (but we didn't need it so wasn't an issue). Also a shame no cot was provided as requested on a phonecall to Britannia call centre, so good job we took ours as a back-up... All in all, wouldn't hesitate to return :-)

Our stay was terrible, we stayed for 2 nights, changed rooms twice the first night as they were so bad and then decided to leave the second night but finally got an upgrade to the 7th floor which was much better, so we stayed out of convenience! The breakfast was terrible and had to wait for a table and food to be brought out ! We were also unable to charge our car as the same two cars charging didn’t move for 3 days ! The hotel couldn’t contact the owners . The hotel only has 2 charging points . We had to drive to Sainsbury’s to charge before coming home and added 2hours to our already 5 hours journey home.

Had to complain about the room.I payed £87 for just the room what wasn't up to standards bathroom was unclean when I complained lady said she would get me another room went to but then was told they didn't have a better one .

Room was clean and comfortable and bathroom was very clean too. Plenty of tea and coffee. The only negative about our stay was that the breakfast both mornings was cold,apart from beans and sausage,they were warm Would be better if the plates had been warm instead of cold.

Hotel was fine but a bit tired and dated as are many hotels in blackpool. Room was clean and warm and plenty hot water in the shower. Enjoyed our stay. Taxi service was superb and easy to access from the hotel direct phone at the front desk.

Room was full of cobwebs, mattress was so creaky and noisy every time you moved. It’s like it wasn’t changed in about 30 years. The bathroom was exceptionally dirty and the tub was clogged full of hair. Water also kept going cold and then lukewarm and very low pressure. Heater wasn’t working in the room either. Staff also not very helpful or nice. Poor excuse for a 4 star hotel.

Warm welcome from the check in staff. Fast check in. Had buffet dinner which was excellent value for money. Breakfast was very good - plenty of choice and good quality food. Room was a little dated but perfectly adequate. Mattress was a little springy but not uncomfortably so. Found all staff friendly and helpful. All in all a pleasant stay.

Room was dirty looked like not been hoovered in a while same on the landings.bedding was stained with blood so went and bought own blanket. Staff were demoralised ,no bath as promised on booking. Was offered a second room but that was worse and smelt damp. Not enough food or plates at breakfast and dirty plates would NEVER stay again as whole hotel needs upgrading.
