We had a room with a disabled bathroom... very tired and the whole room flooded when in the shower so any items of clothing etc got very wet! The hotel reception looks nice but the rooms are in dire need of refurbishment. The bed was comfy and clean so that was a bonus!

The car park was full of litter this hotel looked like a prison from the car park noisey corridors and cleanliness on the grounds followed into the room very unpleasant stay

Big improvement at this hotel in last few months. Room was warm and comfortable. Coffee machine provided. The Grand was a pleasant stay. Onsite parking at a charge of £7 although states left at owners risk.

Disappointing

We booked this hotel instead of a cheap room at Travelodge because it has a pool and we wanted to go swimming. 2 out of 3 of the lifts was not working and as you can imagine its such a big hotel it took forever to wait for a lift to go up or down. At one point we got in the lift and a woman was closing the lift doors by hand because they kept sticking and wouldnt close. In the morning we woke up and had breakfast which was bog standard rubbery english breakfast, hardly any fruit selection or cereal. As we were getting ready to go swimming we was informed by reception that the pool was closed that day as the staff had not bothered to come in, so we was highly disappointed should have just booked the travelodge and saved ourself some money!

Will not be staying here again, booked the property mainly because of the swimming pool and the timings were wrong and were told it was closed early on both nights and the third day. The hotel staff (receptionist, the two men especially) were not friendly at all, not helpful too! I am extremely disappointed with my stay here and will not be returning. The pictures and information are very misleading, please don’t book here just for the luxury look. Many things were dirty in the room especially the bathroom!! Rooms were not cleaned during our stay, did not get any toilet roll nor towels changed despite asking twice. Will never be returning to this hotel again, waste of money and will be complaining with the hotel itself. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!

We stayed in this hotel for one night on 12th April . It was really worst experience as they need new furniture in rooms. We booked a double bedroom but the condition of the bed was worst. We wont ne able to sleep as bed was making very bad voice and damaged. Please dont go with their pictures. Property condition is worst.
