Great location! Great Value for Money. Overall, a bit rundown, but bedrooms are good as are the bathroom facilities. Halls a bit dismal, but clean. Breakfast takes place in a canteen feeling room, but the breakfasts are very good. The restaurant is much better and has a good ambience. The Dinners were excellent. Service was very good and reception were very helpful. It is not a plush hotel, but you can have a fabulous time if you are not a complainer. Our party did not complain and had a great time. As I said - a great value hotel - I would book again.

Shower was broken, only had boiling water, at check out, we waited about 5 minutes while the woman was on her computer. She never even lifted her head so when she finished, we told her about the shower and she replied, okay i will report that. No apology or how was your stay. Not to sure how much training staff get or they don't seem to be very interested.

Pleasant one night stay.

We were given a dated but clean room on 3rd floor. It was accessed by a lift, then down a flight of very steep stairs, which might not be easy for less mobile people. The room was small, but cosy. The bed was comfortable but the pillows weren't great. The bathroom was also dated and could do with a refurb. The staff were nice, and the buffet breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful. Parking was limited and we had to use a car park at an adjacent pub as it was full. You need to register your car on an ipad at reception so you don't get charged.
