Lower Hill, part of the Boconnion estate, is a quirky but charming 3 bedroom chalet-style cottage nestled in a wooded valley, close to beautiful walks on the Camel Trail. It comes with a stunning outdoor Swedish wood-fired hot tub. Also available by request is a separate summer house which can sleep another 2.
The space
Surrounded by trees and fields, Lower Hill sleeps 6 across 3 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. Enjoy a perfect night’s sleep listening to the stream trickling in the background.
Part of the Boconnion Estate, the chalet has been recently refurbished and includes everything you will need for a perfect stay in unspoilt North Cornwall countryside including a fully stocked kitchen, living space with TV and high-speed wifi.
The property comes with a Swedish wood-fired hot tub. A perfect way to relax after a hike on the Camel trail, which is a 15-minute walk from the property and accessible by foot or bike without using any roads.
Dogs are welcome and free to roam around the generous quarter-acre garden which is primarily let to grow wild and full of nature.
Other things to note
The Master bedroom has a double bed and ensuite bathroom with bath/shower. The upstairs attic room, accessed by a spiral staircase, has a double bed and its own downstairs bathroom. A further twin room has a shower room which can be shared with the summer house bedroom. Linen including bath towels and towels for the hot tub are provided.
The outside Swedish hot tub is heated by wood and has no lights or bubbles. Guests will be responsible for maintaining the heat using the inbuilt wood burner. Full instructions are available in the guest bible.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the property, but note that the garden has no fence.
