Not even quite what you pay for

I recognize that thos hotel is 3 stars. But some basic things should still be expected. My biggest concerns were how noisy the hotel was at night and early morning, the maid barging in at 745am thinking the room was empty, and the shower literally being a drip (I don't use "literally" lightly...it was actually a drip). Room was on the first floor a few yards from the front desk. Noise could have been manageable but for someone in the lobby playing the radio (front desk? security?). In the morning some sort of work began on the roof before 9am and, with how small the hotel was and how thin the walls, sounded like it was happening in my room. Was hoping to sleep in just a little. Not this time. But I guess I should say I was already awake. The maid barged in with a key without knocking at 745am thinking the room was empty because my girlfriend had left earlier. Mind you I still hadn't checked out and in fact still had an outstanding bill to pay. For such a small hotel not sure how that kind of miscommunication happens. And, looking forward to a nice hot shower to at least start my day off was unfortunately asking for too much. The water came out in a trickle. I think I still have soap on my body that I couldn't rinse off. When I pay for *at least* the basics, I expect the basics. This hotel sadly does not deliver.

Fantastic Hotel

I cannot say enough about this small hotel. Although is not luxurious, the service, the people, the way that we were treated, we're just amazing. it's like being at home. Everyone greeted us by name every day the free breakfast was outstanding. I can't say enough how wonderful everything was.

Boutique hotel, professional and pleasant personnel. Room was good sized and quite at night but loud during the morning due to a construction across the street. need to improve in different aspects of the hotel.

Super friendly staff!

While we didn't get the exact room we reserved, the hotel staff was very accommodating. Mike (the evening desk attendant) went out of his way to order food for us since we arrived late in the night, and even though our Spanish was very limited, did his best to communicate and help us. The hotel is really cozy and feels almost like a bed and breakfast. My first international trip/hotel stay and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

From the outside the hotel is not pretty. Once you walk in its very cozy and a nice atmosphere. Cute eating area and free breakfast. On with the bad. No one speaks English. The bed is hard and uncomfortable. 1 towel in room for 2 people. The shower pressure was terrible. Barley able to take shower. They charge 2 dollars for a very small bottle of water. The location is good. Close to the bogota beer company and other good restaurants

Good Hotel

The rooms are comfortable, the area is nice and the people they serve are very friendly. The hotel management apologised with us personally byTV and Internet access failure. The only thing to improve was definitely the dirty napkins on the table at breakfast time, and the fact that we noticed that bothered to the person to assist us.

Uninteresting location

About 15 minute walk to Santa Barbara plaza, where the action is in this part of Bogota. Pleasant staff, but close to kitchen it is NOISY! I had to request they turn off the incredibly loud kitchen exhaust fan. Nice facilities, but location just doesn't cut it...

Cheapish place in Bogota's nicest barrio

You can pay a lot in Usaquen for food and accom, and its all worth it. This place is a good deal and super close to the quaint little village area of Usaquen where all the nicest restaurants and markets are; so you can save some coin and still stroll and dine in a posh and historic neighbourhood... and not too far to the busier Zonas T and 93.

Good time

My brother and I stayed in this hotel only for one night but the staff was excellent and very helpful. We had a lot of luggage and the manager allowed us to keep them at their storage area for a full day so we could sightsee a bit. Food is good and freshly made. Close to public transportation and a mall. Safe area

excelent hotel

The hotel is a cozy remodeled house that is almost like hostel but it is actually a hotel. It makes it great to stay because there is not a lot of human traffic going around in the halls. The Hotel is located near a busy street and it does get loud sometimes. Even then, the Hotel accommodations are great, the breakfast was small and too simple. I enjoyed staying here and I can recommend it to anyone that is staying a couple of nights in the city. It is located near shopping malls and a street with various cafés and restaurants. I will definitely stay again!

Excellent Value, a quiet paradise

I have stayed at this hotel during my last two visits to Bogota and will stay there again in the future. The hotel is clean, quiet and located within walking distance to Usaquen, which in my opinion is one of the nicest parts of Bogota. The shower is one of the best I have ever used. The hotel staff is corteous and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is a very good value, and Bogota is not an inexpensive city.

Quiet, well-furnished rooms, excellent service

The rooms are especially quiet and the beds very comfortable, great for sleeping, although the inside temperature can get a bit warm, especially during the early evening. All of the staff members are very responsive and helpful, going out of their way to make things right. The neighborhood is residential, safe even for walking at night, although somewhat lacking in terms of nearby restaurants and activities.
