Weekend Ski Trip

I had a nice stay at the mountain-view condo from January 23rd to 25th. The beautiful woodwork throughout the condo added a warm and cozy touch, making it feel like a true mountain retreat. The spacious private balcony offers nice views, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening sunset. I recommend this place for a relaxing and scenic getaway!

Great stay

Overall, this rental fit our needs perfectly. The view is amazing, and the location was perfect. The only downsides were the bathroom could have used another wipe down prior to check in and the rug in the entry way is a tripping hazard with a corner sticking up. But the place was otherwise great, and we wouldn't hesitate to stary there again.

Nice view problems with stuff working

The property was ok. We were unable to get in d/t bad lock. Luckily, the neighbor was able to get us in with her code. The gas logs wouldn't work, there was a large stain on our comforter, the dishwasher didn't work, the hot tub didn't work correctly and none of this was fixed until the next day. Didn't like the late check in time.

View was beautiful - that’s where the good ended. - Entry code did not work, phone call required - Very large and also smaller stain on bed spread, unsightly, off-putting - No towels, washcloths, etc., phone call required, directed to dryer outside entrance, found towels, folded and placed myself - AC fan worked, but did not cool; phone call required - No water pressure, shower not possible; phone call required - TV remotes dead - Was told local help not available until next day, we vacated & found hotel Run far, run fast from this property. BTW, have heard nothing from managers, etc. since.Our credit card company is disputing payment for us.

Appliances didn’t work

I was not able to get in and had to find internet/service to call for an alternate way in. Description didn’t disclose how many stairs were involved. I’m handicap and it didn’t go well for me. Fridge and freezer was not working and the dishes were dirty. Coffee maker was so molded and needs to be trashed.

The accommodations were great. The condo is cozy.and the view is magnificent. My problem was finding the place after I arrived at Sugar Mountain The directions provided were not clear and caused a delay in checking in. Otherwise, it is an excellent facility

All we could have asked for! Great view!

At the top of sugar mountain can’t beat the view. Spacious condo. HUGE indoor hot tub. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. No soap or shampoo which surprised me but I had brought some with me. Confusing about how to use the heat. (The brown dials control the radiators not the remotes! The remotes are for the white contraptions) Would definitely stay again.

Terrible

Wrong dates, somehow it went thru HomeAway, then Vacasa and got messed up. So according to Vacasa we were a day late, but the bed was messed up, no linens, no towels, no rags, no paper towels or toilet paper, no soap…etc. We called Vacasa 4 times in 2 hours up until 9:30 pm. Each time we were promised a call back but never received one and each call there had been no response from anyone. Finally we received a text from a local person who moved us to another place. Of course we had to pack up and drive someplace else. Nice place but the whole deal was totally a mess. The people that had just checked in above us said they had multiple issues with Vacasa checking in, this was before we realized we had an issue also. Not good. My wife’s Birthday. So after we left we received an email 9:45 pm saying that our original location was not available due to housekeeping issues, no kidding. We were told we would receive a credit for 1 night, the dates were corrected. But so far nothing as far as a credit.

Weekend Getaway

The unit was very clean and very well equipped. The kitchen is newly remodeled. My wife and I liked the location and the neighbors above us were very quiet. The view of the Mountains was beautiful. Overall a decent stay, however the air conditioning does not work. We would stay in this unit again only if the air conditioning was fixed.

Lovely view, stain-free furniture, updated kitchen. Shower doors come off tracks, Primary bedroom door drags on wood floor. Uncomfortable porch furniture, we brought our own chairs. Porch "bar" blocks half the view

Great couples getaway

We had a great experience. The room was clean. We did have a little difficulty trying to get the heat to work and figure out the unit. Took us about a whole day to get it from 60° up to like 73. But besides that everything was amazing. We especially loved the speakers throughout the house.

Cozy cabin/condo

This place is nice and cozy you get the cabin feel although when you pull up it looks like condos. The inside is well stocked and comfortable. I wish the listing would have stated there was an extra mattress in the living room or the agent would have known. I made sure to ask how we could fit 5 people because there was only one bed on the listing (a king) and they said I could bring sleeping bags or an air matress. I packed an air mattress in my carry on in order to make sure I wasn’t on a mission upon my arrival and it was not necessary. Its a nice place and had everything we needed I just wish it was q little cleaner, the windows had a lot of piled up dust.

Birthday weekend

Condo was very nice and had everything we needed and a gorgeous view. We had a great first night but unfortunately party people rented the above condo and were pretty loud well past midnight and early morning.the next day. Other than that location and amenities in the condo were great!

Comfortable mountain retreat

This unit has been nicely upgraded with wood and tile floors, updated kitchen and bathroom, stone-finished gas fireplace, and new ac/h units. Good lighting. Great view west to Beech Mountain. Extra storage features for snow skiers.

Gorgeous View !

We loved our stay at Crest View. The area is so peaceful and quiet. The condo is very clean and has everything you need to make you feel right at home. We had such a nice time just watching the hummingbirds in the morning and the beautiful sunsets in the afternoon. The view from the living room and the deck is just spectatcular.
