The shimmering blue waters of Lobster Cove await just across the road from this oceanfront home in Boothbay Harbor. In this supremely scenic and walkable spot, you'll be a matter of steps from Barrett Park and a short stroll from the footbridge leading into downtown.

This two-story home is the main house on a waterfront property that it shares with a separate apartment. Walk home from a day spent gallery-hopping in town to be greeted by a beautiful front deck overlooking the cove - a lovely spot for sharing lobster rolls from Boothbay Lobster Wharf down the street.

Inside, find a living room with large windows, where you can play board games and stream movies on the flatscreen TV each evening. There's also a well-equipped kitchen and a gas grill for the nights you're not eating out, dining tables both inside and outside, and a propane firepit with a commanding view of the water (which is shared with guests in the apartment). Boothbay/Ocean Point vacation

Kids just loved the deck and played on the rock outcrops. Plenty of room for the 2 girls, their parents, and us grands.Game cabinet was also a hit. Kitchen easy to cook in and with dining inside and out everyone was happy. Great location, although I recommend finding it the 1st time in daylight. Easy trip to Ocean Point, Boothbay Harbor, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, and the Railroad Museum.

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. Ocean Point was close for exploring the coast, the Boothbay area had plenty of great restaurants and the deck was great for coffee in the morning. We appreciated on site laundry and two full bathrooms as well. We had a great weekend and hope to be back.

Great for a family get away

We had a multi-generational get-away here. Family from 21 to 80 and everyone really enjoyed it. Beautiful location and view. Rooms were spacious and very homey. Plenty of room for all nine of us.

This was a very clean and roomy home for 3 couples. Spacious well equipped kitchen along with sitting area. Loved the outside deck overlooking the Smugglers Cove area. Beautiful manicured lawn.
