very unprofessional reservation team in manila i have a bad experience regarding the reservation team in manila. I call manila office regarding this reservation but shaila cannot understand me so she hang up the phone. i call back again for 42 times no answer was made. i was call manila reservation for business not for any personal call but this people are so unprofessional, uneducated and lack of customer service. When I threaten them to give a negative feedback via email thats the time they answer me and even laughing on the background of the phone. dont I really deserve to be treated like this? i call reservation not for any freebies. i have money to pay and stay. i even email marketing but no response as of this writing. i am very sad that this people are treating their customers like they own the business. in my own opinion they should not be in this kind of business. never to go back to this hotel for the rest of my life. there are plenty of hotels around boracay island kairulf uko USA

I was looking forward to my stay at Henann Lagoon Resort, but unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. Upon arrival, I explained that my original booking was for six people, but my father had sadly passed away four weeks earlier. Instead of showing empathy, staff were more focused on logistics and payment, insisting I change the name on his room. This took over an hour, under the uncomfortable gaze of other guests. When we finally got to our rooms, none of the key cards worked. They were incorrectly labelled and had to be reissued, causing further delays. At checkout, we were wrongly accused of not returning a towel card—we were only given one, despite staff insisting they had provided two. Given the earlier issues with our room keys, it’s likely this was another mistake, but again, the focus was on charging us rather than resolving the issue fairly. These incidents, all playing out in public view, left us feeling scrutinised and unwelcome. As the only Black guests at the hotel, it was hard not to question whether that played a role in how we were treated by both staff and management.

The staff and this property were the absolute highlight. The rooms were also nice and clean. We didn’t love this part of Boracay as it was so busy with lots of people hassling you constantly but the resort itself was pretty nice. Most of the food was quite good and they did have a happy hour in the main restaurant but no happy hour at the pool bar which meant we didn’t hang out there at all. The main pool was really nice but the back pool was extremely dirty, though I believe that problem is now fixes as we raised the issue and then the pool was closed. Overall a good stay and no real complaints. Well done to the staff.
