Authentic French B&B. Great location with easy access to public transport and a few minutes walk to the Cathedral, though tucked away in a quiet street. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Breakfast was a mix of croissants, fresh bread and home made yoghurt - plus pancakes on request. It wasn’t luxury, but that’s not what we sought, or were paying for, so we were very happy with our choice. Definitely ticked the box for our 3 night stay. Thank you to all the lovely staff.

Start with the one downside: the hotel is old and doesn’t have an elevator so be careful if you have mobility issues. Apart from that, everything is positive. The building is in a great location, close to the heart of the old city. The people running it do an excellent job on all fronts: they are welcoming and keep the place clean and comfortable. I was there during a heat wave and the a/c was fine. Breakfast was just right. Staff were very helpful. Good restaurant suggestions, for example. Would highly recommend.

It definitely has an old world charm about it with modern conveniences like the bathrooms were up-to-date and spacious showers. Keep in mind if you are visiting with lots of luggage, you might have a hard time with the staircase. It’s a beautiful winding staircase, and I unfortunately brought a big heavy suitcase. But I managed it. The units on the ground floor or first floor we’ll find it much easier to manage than my room on the second floor. Doors and windows seal very nicely so you don’t get outside noise.
