The pictures are not accurate to this hotel. The rooms are run down. There was no chromecast in our room and the AC was broken. Contacting the front desk was only available thru the app which they responded quickly but problems were not fixed. There is no overnight parking which forces you to pay $45 a night for parking. Did not enjoy this property at all.

The Arcadian

The room was nice but the toilet was very low to the ground and didn't flush well. We had to flush several times every time we used it. Another thing we found odd was all the rooms, at least on the first floor, had no windows to the outside. The only windows were to the hallway. Other than that, it's a nice hotel, clean, cool decor, and everyone was friendly.

I was a little worried based on some of the reviews of this hotel, but we came here for a championship indoor track meet at Boston University with my son. It is a bit different hotel as many of the rooms do not have windows and the bathroom had a small, low to the ground potty. However, We were pleasantly surprised with the friendly front desk people, the clean rooms, comfortable beds and the location to the meet was great. I would very much recommend!

It is very good quality hotel for a quite reasonable price. The water dispenser and self serve sundry items were very convenient. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The main lobby with the huge skylight was a very relaxing and welcoming space, especially when the weather was cold. However, some of the self serve aspects were not easy or workable. My tv never was able to connect even with maintenance help. Also, while the water pressure was really strong in the tub, it was quite low in the shower even after the shower head was replaced. Seems like a problem with the internal plumbing. If I were to stay in Brookline again, I would stay at The Arcadian again.

Pros: Nice location, walkable to trader joes, grocery places, BOA etc. Staff were friendly, property lobby was decent size, no issue sitting down for breakfast. Breakfast was simple...mainly bakeries. Cons: No on site parking. You can hear next room's sound in the Bathroom...but it was ok, they provided ear plugs.
