Didn’t stay for breakfast. Front desk double charged and didn’t provide service paid for. Front desk staff was not attentive. The manager did get me a full reimbursement and was professional and timely.

Disappointed

There aren’t many hotels in the area that we are staying, and we normally stay here. But over the years I’ve seen decline in cleanliness the smell of the rooms(my daughter switched rooms because hers clearly smelled like cigarettes). It’s very outdated. The staff was friendly at the front desk. We had called twice before we had arrived and asked for rooms next to each other because we had our young grandchildren And they couldn’t accommodate.

When we walked into our room it smelt like a funeral home and smoke. We called down to the front desk to switch rooms and they said they’d call us back shortly with instruction. they never called us, and we had to get going for our event. Decor is super outdated as well and it just felt kind of unpleasant in there. Bed and shower was clean and comfortable.

The hotel did not have an elevator. The 2nd floor room I was in was far away from the ice bucket on the 1st floor. The breakfast sub par, and the room was old and carpet looked dirty. All n all it was a depressing stay.

Super Best Western

They saved us when the other hotel failed us. Other than the fact there was no elevator taking us to the second floor I have no complaints. Very friendly staff, quick convenient breakfast, clean and comfortable. Easy access off the highway for a family weekend wedding stay.

Excellent Value, Fine Staff

Best Western Rockland is a well worn facility, but it is clean and neat. The staff was all first rate — responsive and kind. That matters. This isn't a fancy hotel and isn't priced like one. I needed a convenient, clean, safe, and quiet place to sleep and shower — what most travelers are seeking — and Best Western Rockland filled the bill.
