I liked having to use the keycard to use the elevator, lobby bathrooms and for additional amenities. I also liked having security present and the Public Safety personnel monitoring the garage. The breakfast bar was good and the next door restaurant was delicious and convenient. I’d highly recommend them. Lastly, the room we stayed in could use some updating.

I had great experience inside the hotel, but outside there were a lot of drugged people and homeless.

Hotel itself was clean, breakfast was good. Overall stay for the price was good. Only downfall don’t go past the immediate vicinity. Homeless drug addicts everywhere. Not a safe area at all.

Staff was nice, like everywhere else at Hampton. However, the area is extremely unsafe to the point that you can't walk two steps beyond the hotel door. Also, someone somewhere was smoking pot and the smell came in through the bathroom vent and filled my room with the smell. I asked the staff to look into it, and they did so, but didn't follow-up with me or do anything about it. And to top it off, the sound of siren in the area - either the police or the ambulances that serve the hospital next door - are present 24X7.

The property was great the staff was fantastic there are a lot of people using drugs on the sidewalk in front of the hotel police had to continually remove them my family felt unsafe all night long the police sirens telling people to move and get off the sidewalk and all day

Nice Surprise

We were in Boston for a few days as my son was preparing to move into a local college. When I first drove Massachusetts Avenue and thought "oh no" about the hotel as the neighborhood looked awful and not safe. With that said,the cul-de-sac at the entrance to the hotel on the other side changed my mind. The hotel grew on me; I love the self-park garage across the street. The ability to get an Uber in the front driveway, to load and unload without stress, and the vibe of the hotel changed to a friendly/neighborhood vibe after my first impression. I would stay again.
