Amazing vacation!

The place is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The view is gorgeous! This is a great place to relax and unwind. It’s a short walk to the beach, which is beautiful. Liz is the best host. She made sure we had everything we needed. She was also knowledgeable about fun things to do in the area, like the ferry to Boston (which was great). Hubby and kids loved it, too. I highly recommend this location and host!

A Spectacular Seaside Escape in Nahant, MA

Our five-night stay at this beautiful seaside property overlooking Nahant Bay was nothing short of spectacular. The views were absolutely breathtaking waking up each morning to the sight and sound of the ocean was the perfect escape from the city after a busy day exploring downtown Boston.Getting to and from the property was a breeze, with easy drives both north and south to nearby attractions. The ferry into Boston made for a fun and convenient way to experience the city without the hassle of driving.The home itself was a true gem—comfortable, well-appointed, and perfectly situated just a quick walk to the end of the street to the gorgeous beach. We especially appreciated the property manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. From the warm welcome and informative tour to checking in throughout our visit, they made sure we felt completely at home.With an excellent bar/restaurant within walking distance and the unique beauty of the Nahant peninsula right at your doorstep, this location offers the best of coastal Nahant. We spent a few days soaking up the sun on the beach and enjoying everything the area had to offer.Highly, highly recommend this wonderful retreat—we're already dreaming about coming back!

New vacation

We decided this year to do something different for our family vacation, first we went to Niagara Falls and then traveled to Boston for a Red Sox game. We aren’t city folks so when I saw this cottage on a little island in a neighborhood I knew I had to book it. The property manager Liz was absolutely amazing and had everything we needed in the house. The house was very clean and cozy. There was a beach very close by which our children loved. I would highly recommend this property for a small family vacation.

Absolutely, Tammy — here’s a refined version of your review, trimmed to just under 1500 characters while keeping the core details and tone intact:---** 3/5 – Beautiful View, But Disappointing Inside**The view and location were stunning, but the stay itself fell short. The host lives directly below the unit, which wasn’t disclosed, and her presence felt more intrusive than welcoming. Upon arrival, she walked us through a list of dos and don’ts, including using a plastic bin to rinse our feet before using the poorly draining shower, not opening marked windows, & limiting laundry to small items due to a 7-hour cycle on the combo washer/dryer.The apartment had several maintenance issues: a torn ottoman, broken lamp, rubber-banded smoke detector, patched ceiling tiles,2 broken bed frames, hard beds & a ripped screen door. Limited toiletries were provided despite the listing saying otherwise & only four towels were given for 4 guests over 5 nights. When I asked for more, she delivered a trash bag of gray towels that looked like our dirty ones. After a quiet comment to my husband questioning if they were even washed, we heard doors slam below—confirming our suspicion that we were being overheard.The TV wasn’t smart or streamable despite listing Wi-Fi and cable. She admitted she didn’t know how to work it. We left the unit spotless & documented everything. While the view is worth noting, the lack of basic hospitality & upkeep make this property hard to recommend.

Perfect location

This was a great landing spot for checking out the Boston area. The water view from our rooms was tranquil after a day of adventures. We even spent a day just chilling in the rental.

Boston marathon

Stayed here while visiting during the Boston Marathon. Really enjoyed staying away from all the hussle and bussle of the city but having it be a close commute there. We rented a car and it took us 30ish minutes to get into the city. A wonderfully beautiful stay.

A Week on the Island

You will like this property if you value a nice host, peace and quiet, and gorgeous views, with easy walking distance to the beach and the very good Tides restaurant. The home is comfortable, easy to access, and just as advertised. If you are looking for brand new, high end amenities, you might want to look elsewhere. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again should we return to this area. Thank you Liz and safe travels to all.

Beautiful place with spectacular ocean view

My sister and I enjoyed our stay here! Liz greeted us on arrival and gave us great tips on areas to explore, restaurants to try, and where to pick up groceries. The oceanside sun room was our favorite spot to relax after a day exploring the area. Access the beach was just a walk down the street. Even in late October, we saw surfers and kite surfers on morning and afternoon beach walks. The location is well situated for exploring surrounding areas like Salem, Gloucester, Rockport, etc. We went to Hammond Castle Museum and were pleasantly surprised. Halibut Point State Park is also worth a visit. Good vibes here with plenty to do and see!

Fantastic

We loved the home. Just big enough fornour family of 4 but still plenty of needed space after a very long car ride. Fantastic view from the back bedroom.We were able to meet the owner and she was very engaged in making sure we had everything needed for a great trip. Beautiful ocean view

My husband, adult daughter and her boyfriend stayed for 4 nights in the property. The home was very clean and there was plenty of space for all of us. The necessary items were provided which was helpful. The beach was just a short walk down the street and the view from the back of the house of the ocean was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful!

This place was a perfect location for us. We did a few day trips north. Gloucester for a Whale Watching trip, Portsmouth, NH for a harbor tour, some great shopping and lunch, as well as a little trip to Marblehead. We Lifted/Ubered into Boston for a conference, as we didn't want to fight the traffic or deal with traffic and was pleasantly surprised of the affordability. We would return to Nahant again! Marblehead too.
