Outdoor center patio with grills. The outdoor chairs and tables with fireplace. Oversize Jenga game outside. The all new modern hotel room appliances with witchy decor added throughout the entire area reminds you your truly in Salem. Whoever picked out the wallpaper is a genius! We all need the designer in our lives.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful -Nova was wonderful and I felt that she went out of her way to be accommodating. However, I didn't appreciate the fact that a container of food was left in the refrigerator. There were no cups for the coffee machine, only one glass in the bathroom and no other glasses in the room at all. The shower had containers for bodywash, shampoo and conditioner but no soap at the sink to wash your hands. Nova and a young man rectified the above situations. Thank you again ! Housekeeping came the next day and gave us fresh towels but didn't even make the beds. The shower floor was very slippery, we spoke with another couple, and they said the same thing about the floor being slippery. The firepit area was very nice - there were two firepits and only one was working but it was quite nice to sit outside, relax and enjoy the beautiful weather

We had a good stay. The building we were in was so new that we may have been the first people to stay in the room we were in. It was spacious and modern, with charming themed decor. The guy at the front desk when we checked in was very friendly and helpful and gave us a great recommendation for where to eat. There were a few issues, perhaps related to the building being new. Some lights didn't work, and houskeeping did not come the first day. The location was convenient...we could walk to most of the sights we wanted to see. Overall a good experience. I would stay here again.

Our stay at the COVE was exceptional, and we were particularly impressed with the aesthetic of the Witchey room. The ambiance and design, featuring a Calduron table and beautiful vines, truly enhanced our experience. Additionally, the daily text messages provided a superior level of service that we greatly appreciated.

Lovely little tale one bedroom apartments. Roomy and functional. Staff was excellent and unobtrusive.especially lived the outdoor seating area with firepit and barbecues for guests to use. Close enough to town to be convenient far enough away to be out of the worst of the crowds. Highly recommended!

Cozy, fun and comfortable

The whole facility is built for comfort. There is a beautiful court yard out front. The room we stayed in was the ice castle my 13 yr old loved it. The lighting and decor is beautifully done. The room was clean and serviced accordingly. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom was clean to perfection. We had full control over the thermostat, to keep ourselves comfortable. I am accustomed to basic rooms like the in the Hyatt or Hilton but this was my first themed room and I truly loved my stay. My next visited to Salem I will definitely be staying at The Cove.

The property is under construction, and we were given no notice before we checked in. Our room was not available and they downgraded us to a different room, but I have not received any compensation. Here is an email I sent to the staff and I am still waiting for a reply. They respond with a manager will get back to you shortly and then nobody ever does. Dear The Cove Front Desk, First, I want to acknowledge that our room itself is lovely and very comfortable, and we have found your staff to be consistently friendly and welcoming during our stay. That being said, there have been several issues that have left us feeling disappointed with our overall experience: Room change without prior notice: We specifically booked a suite with a kitchen, but upon arrival were told our room was unavailable due to construction. We received no prior notice of this change before our arrival. The offered solution—a pirate-themed room with bunk beds—was not an appropriate alternative for two adults. Ultimately, we were placed in a different suite without a kitchen, which was ready after 5:00 PM, over an hour past the standard check-in time. After a long day of travel, this delay was exhausting. While the staff were able to problem solve we waited very patiently.  Lack of communication about construction: While we did receive an email two days prior noting the main entrance would be closed, there was no mention on Expedia or your website about room changes or early-morning construction noise.

The cove hotel double booked our room and made us go to a hotel that was less money per night, closet was broken. They rarely responded to me and out right ignored my complaint, including my expedia message, my text messages, etc. They have just continued to send the same message on repeat and have only responded to my response once. I jave implored they refund me the difference and honestly I Wish to be refunded the entire 3 nights spent in a less than nice motel. I am furious with the cove and their customer servic. Never again!

Hotel is under renovations - didnt see this noted anywhere. The room had a weird odor to it, smelled like it was coming out of the AC vents. Staff was friendly and the room was clean for the most part.
