My issue is somewhat with hotels.com as well as with the hotel. I booked through the hotels.com website when trivago was $360 less for two nights. I was already in Boston and had talked with someone at the Lenox hotel and they had explained the difference of a room that sleeps 2 versus 3. I wasn’t familiar with trivago so went with hotels.com assuming the difference was for a larger room and to be on the safe side with a site I had used in the past since at that point, my reservation was for the same night. I was very disappointed to see the room advertised as sleeping 3 would not have been able to accommodate a cot safely without blocking the door, there was very little counter space in the bathroom and there was mold on the air vents. They’re apparently renovating in the near future, but I would have been much happier risking trivago and saving $360 for the type of accommodations we received.
