My 4 days at the Hilton Boulder.

From the start, the service was awful, and I will never stay here again. The lady at the front desk was beyond rude. The food was awful and expensive, and the thermostat in our room didn't work. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Good: I requested a ceramic mug (instead of the paper cups) in which to heat water for tea, and an employee brought one up to my room. Much appreciated. Also, room was more quiet than average. Loved that. Not so good: Bed was less comfortable than average, moisture damage evident in bathroom, desk light not working. Hotel parking ($24/night) is too expensive.

Fine stay. Beds are very comfortable. Clean and Newer hotel. Easy parking (but be prepared to pay $24/night which is a lot). Breakfast is $18 for a buffet - feel like that should be included like it is when you stay at a Hyatt Place. Good and convenient location. Bar not open so you had to go across to the Embassy Suites if you wanted a drink.

The area around the hotel is rundown and does not feel safe. There were no toiletries provided in the room. None of the lights in the room worked other than the bathroom and the bedside table. The walls were not soundproof and I heard the neighbor's TV on late at night and then heard an entire family talking at 7:30am the next morning.
