Step into your private 1,000 sq. ft. Outdoor Living Room. This is the heart of the Bowen Island sauna experience, a dedicated sanctuary for contrast therapy and sensory grounding.
The Ritual: Cycle between our custom-built cedar Bowen sauna, an invigorating, professional-grade oval cold plunge, and a refreshing cold bucket shower. This deliberate thermal loading is designed to reduce inflammation, boost dopamine, and strengthen your immune system.
The Fireside Lounge: Decompress under the forest canopy in our secluded fireside retreat. It is the perfect space for integration and quiet reflection after your spa cycles. Enjoy our curated Ritual Beverages and Teas while you absorb the natural surroundings.
Safety & Seclusion: The Cedarwood zone is perimeter-secure, bordered by a natural, non-climbable cliff and high-grade fencing. It provides a safe haven for children and up to 2 pets (who stay for free!) to roam while you focus on your wellness journey.

Enjoy up to two, 120-minute contrast therapy sessions per day (not per night), each session is long enough for 2 to 3 full circuits of heat and cold.

Pet-Friendly Wellness (No Extra Fees!)
We believe your nervous system regulates better when your companions are near. We are proudly pet friendly for up to 2 animals at no additional cost. While the front yard is only partially fenced, the 1,000 sq. ft. Cedarwood zone is secure, allowing your dogs to lounge safely by the fire while you enjoy the sauna. We do, however, as that you have your dogs leashed while you explore contrast therapy.

Please note that while the Barnfield Suites offers total "whole-home" privacy, we are committed to a quiet-luxury atmosphere—no parties or loud events, in keeping with our "Hushpitality" philosophy.
