We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed and good clean facilities. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Overall the hotel was clean, and the staff all friendly. We would definitely use again if in the area.

Fantastic Hotel

What an absolutely fantastic hotel! My mother and I came to stay for the Early May bank holiday weekend. The moment we entered Sally and the reception team treated us like old friends. Sally was really chatty with us and made us laugh, the hotel felt really homely and welcoming. Our twin room, 117, was the last room in the corridor and I preferred this. It was really quiet, the beds were really comfy. Room was large and airy, it had everything we needed, it was very clean. Bathroom was great, what I liked was the seat inside it and handrail. Shower easy to use and very warm, I loved it. You are very close to local amenities, such as Stansted Airport, Braintree Outlet village, Colchester, and the coast. Even though the hotel is next to the bypass you never hear a thing it’s very quiet. I can honestly say I will be booking this hotel the next opportunity I get. Highly recommended! Thank you for a lovely stay.
