This luxurious log cabin, surrounded by the stunning Mid Wales countryside, has a hot tub and a balcony, and incredible views in all directions. With stunning interiors and located close to excellent walking and pretty towns of the Brecon Beacons, it makes a perfect romantic retreat.

Located on a hillside on a working sheep farm with views of the Honddu valley, the cabin’s design takes advantage of its stunning setting. Go up three steps to the balcony (the rest is all on one level) and into the gorgeous open-plan lodge where you can chill on the sofa (a sofa bed that sleeps two) and watch a film or TV, read a good book or play games. The contemporary kitchen features everything you need for cooking and there’s dining space for four. The pretty double bedroom area is tucked away at the end next to a window for a room with a view; there’s also a light and spacious shower room. French doors in the living area go out to the covered balcony patio where you can drink in the awe-inspiring panoramic views as you sip on a glass of something chilled, then relax in the private hot tub and enjoy more of those amazing views.

The outdoor playground of the Brecon Beacons National Park is on your doorstep, with excellent walks, fishing, mountain biking, and bird watching. Plan your walk from the lodge to take in a local pub for a drink and a hearty meal. Play a round at the 18- hole course at Cradoc Golf Club just 3 miles away or go horse riding at Cantref activity and adventure centre 8 miles from the cabin. Nearby Builth Wells (11 miles) is home to the Royal Welsh Show, the Winter Fair and Spring Show.
