Ich war das 4. Mal in diesem Hotel und sehr erschrocken über das Zimmer welches mir „zugeteilt“ wurde. Es war winzig klein, direkt neben dem Lift, hellhörig und gehörte wohl zu den Zimmern welche schon lang keiner Renovierung unterzogen worden sind. Für einen Preis von 176 CHF für 2 Nächte (ohne Frühstück) erwarte ich ein angemesseneres Zimmer. Noch dazu, da das Hotel über extrem viele Zimmer verfügt. Auf meine Reklamation hin, bekam ich dann ein anderes Zimmer was deutlich besser war. Die Rezeptionistin konnte es sich jedoch nicht nehmen lassen mir zu sagen, ich hätte schliesslich auch nur „Business gebucht“ und man müsse bei der Reservierung explizit angeben, dass ein ruhiges Zimmer gewünscht ist. Was weder in der Buchungsmaske oder beim Hotelportal ersichtlich war. Bisher habe ich immer Business gebucht, noch nie angegeben, dass ich ein ruhiges Zimmer brauche und hatte noch nie ein solch schlechtes Zimmer. In einer Stadt mit einer so hohen Hotel-Dichte, mit neu gebauten Hotels wie dem Ibis am Bahnhof, wo die Nacht 40 € kostet, finde ich es verwunderlich, dass das Achat sich derart schlechten Service leisten kann. Noch dazu bei Gästen die wiederholt im Hotel logieren. Auch beim Auschecken (wie jedes Mal) kein freundliches „vielen Dank“ o.ä. Definitiv mein letzter Besuch in diesem Hotel. Schade. Erschwerend kommt hinzu, dass die Bahnhofsvorstadt sehr schmutzig ist und man sich als Frau aus verschiedenen Gründen nicht sonderlich wohl fühlt.

Naja!

Ich habe das erste mal in einem Dampfbad gefroren! Es zog unter der Tür durch wie Hechtsuppe. Und die Sauna war auch nicht besser, erst als ich ein Handtuch vor die Tür legte damit es nicht mehr zieht, wurde es warm. Das Zimmer war ganz normales Hotelzimmer und nix Feng Shui ! Sehr enttäuschend.

Die Sauna hat eine Temperatur von rund 90 Grad was durchaus üblich ist und es hat bisher auch noch niemand in der Sauna gefroren. Da kalte Luft nicht nach oben steigt ist dies nur vorgesehen um die notwendige Luftzirkulation zu gewährleisten.

Die Klimaanlage funktioniert, es handelt sich jedoch um eine moderne Induktionsklimatisierung die fast völlig Geräuschfrei läuft eine Messung aller Stränge hatte eine absolute Funktionsfähigkeit bestätigt und eine Raumtemperatur zwischen 18 und 22 °C.
