5 minutes to town and tucked in the woods. Comfortable beds with quality linens. 3 porches, a .25 mile tree-lined gravel driveway, wildlife, fire pit, rest and relaxation! The main living area has a kitchen and dining area, den, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A full basement adds a laundry room, bedroom, bathroom, and private entrance. Outside you’ll enjoy a large back yard, fire pit, covered porch, side porch with dining table, and a separate front porch for a different view.

The space
This rustic ranch with full basement gives you plenty of room to spread out. People love the relaxing privacy provided by this home and when you are ready to explore Brevard, it’s a quick 5 minute drive. Simply turn left out of the driveway and you’ll see the downtown Brevard sign in less than a mile.

Other things to note
The basement bedroom has a firm mattress for those that prefer that.

Indoor fireplace available September through April.

Pet policy: we can accept up to 2 adult dogs per visit. Please help us stay pet friendly by keeping dogs off the furniture. There are extra “paw” towels in the laundry room!

Beautiful Fall Trip to the Mountains

The place in the woods is a PERFECT location. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, but you're literally minutes from downtown Brevard. The house is very comfortable and spacious with all of what you could want. We tried to make use of all of the extras including the firepit in the back yard. The communication with the host was timely and excellent. We only had four of us (a few couldn't make it), but the house could have handled several more. This would be a perfect house for a larger family or a combined family. Thanks again!

Secluded house minutes from town

We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed the house very much. The house provided everything we needed and more. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms up to date. The owners were easy to contact and live close by for any needs you may have. The house is close to get to Pisgah and DuPont as well.

Tucked in the Woods & Surrounded by Greenery

We felt right at home & loved the Porches (there's 3)! Everything we needed & then some ;-) It's obvious this is a family home that has allowed it's users many years of relaxation. Comfy beds, nice linens, & awesome master bath. Full of updates, this roomy gem also allowed for our 35lb pet (not on furniture). They even provide food/water bowls & "clean up towels" near the front door to wipe damp paws. The owners are so considerate on many levels: Check in w/electronic keypad, Welcome note & bottle of wine bc I had mentioned the trip was for a special occasion. There's notes to help w/electronics - the "Helpful Kitchen Tips" on the side of the refrigerator made us LOL @ the 1st paragraph! We would definitely recommend this home & hope to return.

Wonderful home and very private. Will definitely stay again the next time we’re in town!

The checkin/checkout process was very easy. The homeowner was readily available to answer any questions we had. The house was super clean with comfortable beds and couches. The kitchen was well stocked with all amenities of home. We particularly loved the privacy of the home. Very quiet with lots of glimpses of nature — from bunnies to deer. It was an overall excellent experience and we hope to be able to make this home our “home away from home” when visiting family in Brevard.
