Private Downtown Retreat | 3 Bed, 1 Bath

Vacation rental in Brevard, NC with room for six travelers, safe bike storage and new linens, private back yard and winter views.   Good spaces to do work or zoom meetings, nice smart TV, good internet speed, plenty of out door spaces and lush landscaping.  This home is in a residential area off of Probart Street which is just a block off of Main St, Brevard.  Guests can walk to the local bakery, the movie theater and several other well -loved local favorites.  The space is good for groups of 4 to 6 with a king bed, one queen bed and two twin beds.  The fenced area is pet friendly with the pet fee.  Local manager is available to assist guests with any issues that may rise up during their stay.  Perfect starting point for a ride on the bike path, just go out the driveway, turn left and left again on Railroad avenue and you are on the path, headed to the new Railroad Depot that is the most recent edition to the Brevard bike path.  The bike path winds on across McLean Road and on the left in the trees is a bike park with jumps and birms that are really cool for the novice or experienced biker.

As your host during your stay, White Squirrel Realty is easy to reach by text or phone.  Each home is supplied with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable.  Our cleaning crew is local, paid a living wage and are trained so that you can enjoy your vacation in a clean home.
Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone on the reservation with a link to the essential information you need to enjoy your stay like the door code and the directions.  The digital guide book has information on the property and also on the area including restaurants, grocery stores and popular destinations.  Guests can go straight to the property at check-in time.

Clean, comfortable and private

The outstanding feature of this house is the large elevated deck for relaxing and a huge fenced yard for your dogs. And it is just off the main street of Brevard. Unfortunately, the weeks I was there were not particularly quiet because there was construction going on at four nearby properties with the nail guns going all day. When these properties are finished, the deck will be a little bit of heaven.

Getaway

This house was perfect for our week getaway while the kids were at camp. Walking distance to downtown and restaurants. Close drive to an abundance of hikes and waterfalls. Our dog loved the big back gated yard. Saw white squirrels everyday.

Great location park your car and jump on your bike!

We had a wonderful stay and could not ask for a better location in town! We took our bikes everywhere from the bike path to Oskar Blues with the kids, to the Bracken trails, to the restaurants downtown. The house set up great for our family and the backyard and garage were a plus!! The kids had a blast catching fireflies.

Nice house and great location

Our family of 5 stayed in this rental over the Labor Day weekend and had a great time. Our 3 kids loved the backyard and the house was close enough to walk downtown (about .5 mile walk). The back porch was a nice place to hang out and we could hear live music coming from downtown. The house was clean and had updated appliances. There is a large smart tv in the living room with roku but no cable. Both bathrooms were clean, have been updated, and it was no problem for us to share the one shower. There is not a kitchen table in the house but there is a bar with 4 barstools. We hiked around Pisgah throughout the weekend and were within a 15-20 minute drive to several trails. This house is in a fairly nice neighborhood - although the rental is somewhat sandwiched behind 2 other houses. Despite that, the backyard is huge with woods surrounding the fence line so there is privacy. We enjoyed downtown Brevard with plenty of very good restaurants, shopping, breweries and also took the kids to Franklin Park. We would stay here again as the house is a good value for the location and was well maintained.

Great Location for family vacation

Our family of 6 really enjoyed this property for our weeklong vacation in Brevard. It is close enough to walk into town to dinner or shopping. Our family was able to go mountain biking, hiking to waterfalls, water skiing on Lake Jocassee, zip lining in Saluda, and visit several breweries. We loved the back porch and the big yard that is very dog friendly. The only thing I would caution against would be young children (maybe younger than 10) staying in the house due to the steepness of the steps down to the basement. We loved this location.

Great backyard and location

My wife and I stayed here with our adult son and pet cocker spaniel for the long holiday weekend. The dog loved the huge fenced-in backyard to run and chase birds. We saw a white squirrel in the yard the first day and enjoyed afternoons and evenings on the back porch. The place had everything we needed from cooking utensils, linens, towels, and a smart tv. There were nightlights throughout the house to help in the dark and lights with motion sensors in the backyard. There were many huge mature trees around the entire back yard so it felt very private. It was an easy walk to restaurants, ice cream, and shops downtown. And you could even get to a couple breweries without having to use a car. When sitting on the back porch, there's a bit of road noise and you can hear the band playing from a bar in the evening on railroad street. It wasn't a problem if you were inside the house.
