Old but clean. Shower curtain was a bit short. The mixer/tap in the bathroom sink was very hard to turn, especially for kids & adult with arthritis. I slipped on the staircase, I know there was a warning.

This is a very horrible place to stay. There is no front desk person available at the property. Didn't have good feeling seeing the hotel. After going there I had to call the number on the door to see the room. The room door has digital lock outside but no latch or anything to lock from inside. I felt very unsafe. I am a frequent traveler and I have never seen any hotel like this. In the online booking its put as Hamilton Brisbane Airport Hotel but its not a hotel, it's a Motel. When I complained about the room door safety issues with the property manager Melanie, she was very rude. Refused to cancel my booking. I had booked the hotel for 2 nights. I didnt feel safe so booked another hotel in the city. I told her to cancel my booking and keep one day staying charges and return the second day amount as cancelation is allowed 24 hrs before checking, but she refused to return. She sent an email saying its a motel and there is no requirement to have any latch or lock on the inside door. It was my last minute booking and I was looking for hotel near to airport as I had to take an early morning flight and all the good hotels near the airport were already booked. When its a motel why they have put hotel in the name. Beware of this place. I am not sure how they can name a motel as Hamilton Brisbane Airport Hotel.

No lifts were advised that we know of carrying heavy bags to floor 2 is totally inconvenient. lighting poor can hardly read a news paper where they position tables. Not enough power points for charging, no face washers & hand towels no cutlery, coffee & tea facilities ok. Advertised as A ok but miss the important leave out stuff? Rooms have poor make up in other words not inviting to stay. There is an outside toilet but they don’t tell you it’s there is people coming early when we were there very unhappy about knowing info ref toilets or baggage storage so much for online booking no service to be seen, only 2 outside seats both rain affected areas next week changed to under cover ????!!!! We wonder why. Emails to ask you to request to pay an early fee or late fee checkouts WHY. when the customer has come off a busy schedule and get asked to pay more to check in an hour or two early and climb stairs? We will not be paying the ridiculous cost of no service at this hotel ever again and will be telling everyone we know how no service works the owners should be disgusted with the reviews - we will wait and see what they do, please feel free to ring us you have our number to discuss how people make money?

I requested a toaster for our and it didn’t come. Curtains facing main road were too light so it let the sun in from 5am onwards. Might be good to get blackout curtains which may also help with traffic noise.

Try somewhere else I will never stay there

Would advise that this property is the worst place I have stayed at. I had good communication with the motel until I arrived. I was not sent the code or room number when I arrived after the notified check-in time. I tried to ring the number provided twice and had to wait in the heat of the carpark for over 45 minutes. Room aircon was on 25 and tape was holding the batteries in place. When someone finally returned my call I had rescanned the QR code on the reception window with only house keeping staff on the site. Really uncomfortable bed and water damage to the wardrobe door and rust on base of fridge.

After a long day travelling, the property was easy to find, the bed was comfortable but if they say this is renovated, the job is only partly done. We only had 1 window that opened plus the heatpump. It had new light fittings etc but you can see the old. The shower was lovely except for the shower edging to stop water spreading. As retired renovators this is a poor job.

Poor customer service experienced by myself and my family. We had booked ages ago for 1 night stay ( non refundable room). Turns out a cyclone happened the day of our stay and our flights were only cancelled the day before we were due to stay (given the uncertanty of the cyclone and frequent change in direction, speed etc). We understand we were booked in a non refundable room, we were simply wanting to be moved dates given our flight was cancelled due to the weather events and rescheduled for 2 days later. I emailed the hotel (with no reply back) the day my flight was cancelled to ask to be moved to another night as our flights had been rebooked for 2 days later. My booking agency also contacted the hotel on my behalf. The hotel staff have been very difficult to deal with, refusing to move my stay to another night (even a week day which is usually cheaper than a weekend stay and there was availability!). We were even happy to pay the same higher amount even though it was advertised cheaper for the week night. They also refused to refund us any part of the fee. Hotel staff have not been accommodating in regard to there being a cyclone and weather event out of my control. Very poor customer service.
